It's far from the cheapest locking pin, but I wanted one that will last (stainless steel,) be rated for my truck's maximum towing capacity (Class 5,) and be secure even if the lock failed while in use (uses a spring pin to secure as well as the lock.)This one checks all the boxes.

When you are towing 11000 pounds and the item will tow over 35000 pounds, AND you can lock it, buy it. Don't skimp on safety.

The best thing about this lock pin is that it fits my heavy duty 3 receiver. I live in Montana known for big trucks and all but could not for the life of me find the hitch pin locally. I likened it to Apple and changing up the charge ports to screw with you since I have a shelf of smaller hitch pins. Nice quality not really any different than any other but works and that was the key for me.

This was one of the locks I was needing to secure my trailer. Glad I found it! Works like a charm and the secondary security of the pin made it wonderful!

I have used this locking hitch pin on my TT four times now and really like it. Is is super beefy, well constructed and sturdy. My only complaint is that I have to remove the lock portion to hook up the safety chain that is on the lock side due to the large size of the lock. Small potatoes for such a good product.

I spent days researching trying to find a good solid locking hitch pin but the issue is that so many reviews on the others claimed the locks broke off. I was happy when I found this one because this one doesn't have that issue due to the pin that can be entered before the lock. This one is the safest and best locking pin on the market. It's also made here in the USA so the quality is the better then others.

Very well made and machined, lock operates very smoothly, having the hairpin clips keeps it from rattling. Perfect fit for my F-250 with its odd size hitch channel.

I purchased this because my last hitch lock only had a lock. It managed to fall off while pulling my trailer. This one really gives me peace of mind!

It seems to be well made the key is easily accessible and has a cover over the lock portion to keep water and dirt from entering.

best I've owned, they all rust a bit, and this one will over time a little I'm sure, but Ill never buy chrome or anything but SS receiver parts. Worth the money for this heavy duty pin

I really like the two pin holes for extra security, the fact that it is made with stainless steel and 2 keys in case one gets lost!

So this is not 5/8 round. This was just a tad over 5/8 causing some problems. If you need something exactly 5/8 this is not for you. This took a lot of grinding on the grinding wheel. I must say though this is some hardened steel. Very tough stuff.

This lock would make a tuff job for any thief! I like the quality and fittment. should spray the internals with liquid graphite to keep useable for years to come!
