I have been using Bunn coffee makers for many years. I tried other brands but always came back to Bunn.The coffee tastes fresher. I won't use any other coffee maker.

I'm not sure there is such a thing as a perfect coffee maker. But the Bunn comes pretty close. Will brew you a pot of coffee FAST. It is a brand you can trust, and so far it is reliable.I like a strong cup of coffee and use filtered water, but this led to a big coffee ground mess and spills on the counter. As many have suggested, you will NEED to call them up and ask for a flow restrictor spray head.This is the primary reason I give 4 stars out of 5 - this unit is incomplete without one. Why they force their customers to take this extra step is beyond me. Worth noting that it was extremely easy and their customer service was fast and friendly.The new spray head does slow down the time it takes to brew coffee, but not too significantly.The Bunn is a worthy upgrade over cheaper competitors, and I do recommend this item, with the aforementioned caveats.

One note of caution. When we got this coffee maker, we did not take into consideration that this is a ten cup pot. It takes less grounds. In fact, it takes less grounds than I would expect it to.We like strong coffee and found that adding more grounds caused the basket to run over as it brewed. We found we did not need to add the extra to get the flavor. When this one wears out, I will order the same one again. Very happy with it.

We needed to send for restrictors so the basket would not over flow when brewing a fresh full pot. The needed part was sent for free, but I think should have been included to start with.

If you don't know Bunn is the best. It's that simple. Quick tip close the lid to drain the first pot into the chamber the. Refill, close the lid and most importantly line up the carafe with the hole. Good now you know how to operate the best coffe maker out there enjoy

This is my second Bunn coffee maker. I purchased my first one in 1993 and it just konked out after nearly 30 years of daily use. I will never own another brand of coffee maker. Bunn is the very best!
