Have had Bunn coffeemakers for years and they brew excellent coffee almost instantly. This model has a carafe that does not fit in my dishwasher. Also, I found it difficult to fill the reservoir because of the carafe's shape.

I got this and started setting it up per the directions. If you are one to simply follow directions and not ask questions, you'll be fine. But I'm always questioning because if I don't immediately understand, then I need to understand before proceeding. The directions indicate to fill the tank until water starts coming out of the funnel. The next step then states to put the amount of water you want for your coffee. To me, this came across as a futile step. If I just put water in until it came through the funnel, why would I keep doing it?What the directions do not clarify is that once the inside tank is full (until the water comes out the funnel), it is ready to be heated and used for brewing. The next step is to pour in the amount of water you want for your batch of coffee because that water you pour in will displace the same amount that's already heated in the tank, and replace it so that you have a 100 capacity supply for your next batch. So this is really just an explanation for those with my type of brain. I had to go find a youtube video that actually explained how this machine worked so that I could move forward lolHaving said that, I really like this machine. We came from a pod style unit and decided we were done with that dreadfully slow setup. This unit brews instantly and once we got the grounds:water ratio right (we do 3/4 cup of grounds to 6 cups of water) we have been enjoying the hell out of it.

We have used bunn for many years and have been very happy. The last one we had for over 10 years and started leaking so we bought another.

The reservoir of ever-ready hot water makes this coffee maker a morning treasure for a quick cup of coffee. Bunn has always made an excellent cup of coffee and this coffee maker stands up to their reputation! The choice of having the hot plate on or off while the pot is being sitting in the coffee maker is nice. Some people, like myself, enjoy coffee warm not super hot and I now have that option. Because of the reservoir for the hot water, setting up the make for the first time requires careful reading of the instructions. It's not complicated..just different. I love the coffee maker and recommend it to everyone!!!

Makes coffee in 1 minute. It was a gift for my brother in his work environment. He loves the rapid making and superb taste it brews with Floggers coffee. He says it taste better than fresh pressed.

Within 4 months this pot is leaking coffee out of the bottom every time I use it making a mess all over the counter and floor

Best coffee maker by far. Quick brewing. Easy to clean. Keeps the water hot all the time.

I have had a Bunn for oveer 20 years wouldn't have anything else.

I bought a Bunn years ago and I didn't realize how spoiled it made us . I went to visit my daughter and they had a very expensive one that took forever to drip in the morning. Then I bought them one . I also bought one for my brother and he said we have a coffee maker . I said not like this it's so fast. He thought I was just crazy. UNTIL he went up to his cottage in the summer. He called me and said he went and bought another one for the lake because he was on the porch pacing waiting for his coffee. He said he didn't realize the difference either until he missed it. This takes literally 3 minutes and it taste delicious. Do not hesitate to buy a bunn. One thing you should just use bunn filters because other filters will let it overflow. My brother thought his machine was broke but he bought cheaper filters and they just don't work well. You will never go back to that slow drip machine and they are all like that.

I've always had a bun coffee maker and enjoyed the coffee. I don't like waiting for the coffee to brew so I like that it brews a pot of coffee fast.

Have used this coffee maker for years. Other I have tried were more expensive and did not last. Make outstanding coffee and is easy to maintain. Also...the price hasn't changed in years. Keep up the good work Bunn

I like coffee, but my little 5 cup coffeemaker just isn't big enough. After exhaustive research, the Bunn Velocity seemed to be what I wanted for my forever coffeemaker. After all, all my favorite restaurants have Bunn coffeemakers.It is quick brewingIt does make great tasting coffeeWhat I quickly discovered is that, when you brew Decaf, the filter basket (using only Bunn filters) fills up quicker than it drains out into the carafe, resulting in a sea of coffee and grounds overflowing all over my countertop.The Bunn instructions and website want you to wade thru endless time-wasting FAQ's. Their customer service phone is only available limited hours on weekdays.They take great pains to hide the fact that if you brew Decaf or finely ground coffees you require a restricted flow flowhead. They thoughtlessly fail to include one in the package. An on-line request needs to be sent in to request this part. There is a sprayhead designed for use with decaf that can be ordered online. There is no charge for it.If you like the pause pour feature on a coffeemaker, this one doesn't have it. After quickly brewing, it slowly and eventually stops dripping and leaving a mess on the hotplate.if you buy one, be sure to write down the model number and the datecode stamped on the bottom of the unit before you use it. Otherwise, it is a major pain to drain this unit in order to turn it over to either get the datecode, or to descale it later. you will need the model and datecode in order to order the decaf sprayhead.I recommend only using distilled, RO or ZeroWater Pitcher filtered water.I you only brew a few cups of coffee, and like the pause pour feature, just get the cheapest little 5 cup coffeemaker Walmart sells. they're cheap and make EXCELLENT coffee - and they last Forever!i rec'd the decaf sprayhead in the mail today, and promptly loaded up the filter basket to brew 10 cups. it worked like a charm. The liquid does not back up in the filter to overflow as it did with the regular decaf.

I was quite surprised when I discovered that this coffee maker has a container that keeps water hot even when you're not using it so it stays on continuously. I didn't like that idea at first but I've gotten used to it and when you add water for a new pot it instantly brews the hot water that's already available so it's different from any other machine that I'm aware of. It's kind of pricey but it feels like it's well designed and constructed and even though I'm using the same source of water and the same brand of coffee as my last coffee maker it does actually make better coffee! That's what really counts so I do recommend it!

You can spend a ton of money buying a fancy brand but your coffee won't taste any better than from a Bunn. They have made a few changes over the last 20 yrs or so but the fundamentals are still there. They last a while if you keep it clean. Makes 10 cups of coffee in lt;5 mins. Can't beat the flavor.

I've never been so happy!

This product is easy to use. no fancy buttons, or settings. I use fresh ground and water. Water reserve remains hot though out the day so I can make a fresh pot whenever I need it. I had my last BUNN for 10 years! So happy I can still get this brewer.
