Works great, fast brew time and creates better flavor

Liked: Great coffee every time, low maintenance, high quality, easy to use and economical.Dislike: Would suggest using a energy saving timer so too Not heat water all 24 hours a day, only heat water just in time for use.

I bought this for my friend for Christmas. She loved it.

This is our second Bunn. We love the fast hot coffee. Out last one made it 20 years then sprung a leak. I don't know how. So dear husband wiped it down and sent it off to Goodwill who will or will not be able to repair it. (They do that sort of thing.)So we are happy with our new one which was delivered in short order!!

I paid good money and bought this coffee maker for my parents as a gift..It began leaking slowly.and now, it is leaking horribly from underneath soaking the entire cabinet. They have cleaned it, de-scaled it, use the proper filter and still, it won't stop.I do NOT recommend this machine..they only got less than a year of use.What a waste of money

We had a BUNN at work and I wanted one at home. If you are familiar with BUNN you probably understand why and that's why you're looking at these. Thus far it has performed well. The cup capacity is just right for us - two people can get two large mugs of coffee each per brew. I bought the plastic pitcher that is offered for filling the tank but truthfully you don't need it. Setup is easy IMO, just follow the directions or there is a video you can watch but we didn't need it. The directions are clear and adequate. It is FAST! It brews a pot in about 3 minutes and the coffee is hot and it brings out the full rich taste and smells divine. It does not have an auto shut off so you do need to be mindful of that because it keeps whatever is left in the pot hot all day until you do turn it off. You can't program it to wake you to the smell of coffee but we just set it up the night before, fill the carafe with water just as any other and in the morning pour, push the button and you are ready before you can say Bob's your uncle, or as I said, 3 minutes. I also bought the BUNN filters but we've been using the same ones from our previous coffee maker until they are gone and have had no issues with them. I have not emptied the water tank and given it an overall cleaning. I will need an assistant to lift it though I do not anticipate a problem. It doesn't say how often to do that but I generally cleaned my others every 2 months so it's not time yet. There is nothing to make it look intimidating. Husband really likes it. It's a little on the pricey side but that was not a surprise. It's probably the basic model of BUNN but we are both happy with the performance and look forward to enjoying it for hopefully more than a year or two as has been the case with some of our other coffee makers.

Preforms perfect

In recent years especially with my kitchen products that see good amounts of use, I've come to adopt more of a buy once, cry once mentality. A lot of times you find that the products that work the best and last the longest are usually the most simply designed like a KitchenAid or a Vitamix where the core features and overall product design have barely changed at all in decades. This Bunn is no exception to that. No fancy displays or complex circuit boards that have a button for a bunch of redundant functions, no microprocessors or wifi capability or smartphone apps. Just makes coffee, works great, and will probably last me for decades.

We bought a new Mr. Coffee and the plastic taste was so strong and would not go away. I read all the reviews and went for this. Not sorry I did. The first pot tasted great.

This is aChristmas present.
