I followed the directions to the letter on one bag of these Butler Soy Curls. I tried to make two dishes with them. They do not absorb the sauce or flavor from the recipe you are making. They do not in any way mirror chicken or any other form of protein. They are inedible. I through the remainder out, and I through out the other two bags. Complete cr_p.

This is a very versatile plant-based substitute for meat. It is not cheap, but neither is meat!! It is nice not to have to keep it in the freezer like so many other meat-substitutes. It's great to find a product that does not have an ingredient like a mile long and full of chemicals.

As a vegan/vegetarian this product works as a chicken replacement in soups, stews and pasta sauces. Has a “chew” similar to chicken but with no cholesterol. If anyone is thinking of adding more healthful plant based meals to their diet, this item is really helpful and delicious.

This is the first time I've tried the Soy Curls, and I'm glad I did. They have a meat consistency; they were tender, and I was pleasantly surprised by how tasty they were. I've since purchased a second package and I will continue to do so.

Soaked in water for a few hours and made stir fry with red chili, turmeric and ginger powder with a dash of sesame oil and sesame seeds. Unlike bean curd soy sheets this absorbed the flavors (the rough texture helps the flavors penetrate the soy). Tasted great!

i cook with tofu a lot but sometimes it's hard to find organic tofu and sometimes you forget to have it and it expired.these tofu curls workswell always available and easy to dehydrateput it in soup, with congee and stir fry

I am never without these babies. 1 bag goes a LONG WAY!! Perfect for chic noodle soup, for buffalo soy curl sandwiches, stir fries, fajitas, you name it!! Protein rich and takes on whatever flavor you choose.

A friend turned me on to these delicious morsels of goodness! As a vegan, I've struggled with finding a satisfying replacement for chicken. These soy curls did the trick! I've made Kung Pao, Buffalo “chicken” wraps, curry “chicken” salad and the list goes on. They are VERY bland on their own, but much like tofu will take on whatever flavor you add. I just prefer the texture so much more than tofu, and they're less processed!

I am impressed with how easily these cooked up and adopted the seasonings. Very tasty. Excellent nutrition. Looking forward to experimenting with different meals. Checked out the website for the manufacturer and they offer some great recipes online. Happy to see they are made right in my home state of Oregon. Will buy again for sure.

My family has made these pan seared, fried, stirred into soups and stews, and slow baked into teriyaki and BBQ jerkyall so good. This is the most versatile and convenient (meat like) protein product I have ever used, here's why: 1. Its a great value, and cheaper than meat. 2. Its dry, so sits on your shelf- you just add hot water and wait a few minutes, then cook Zero refrigeration needed. 3. High protein and fiber, Iron as well- and no need to kill animals to produce. 4. Can be made to taste like chicken or beef or not like eitherits the cooks choice!
