Just buy it. If you got the amp and connections to hook it up into theater or gaming setups it well worth it.

The opening scene of Pacific rim was brutal. The chair shook with such FORCE I felt as if l was literally on the bridge being attacked by the Kaiju. I really thought my system was great ( two 15s and one SVS PB 16 ULTRA 8600 watts RMS) this thing just made my system so immersive, there is no way l can watch another movie without it. PS. The race scene in Ready Player One DM

I paired two of these buttkicker lfe's with a used buttkicker amp I bought off eBay. WOW is all I can say. I highly recommend this combo.

One of these is enough to shake our entire dual reclining metal frame sofa with the right amplifier. The effect definitely enhances movies once you have it dialed in. It's easy to have too much shake or at too high frequencies which can be distracting, but once it's rumbling correctly it's an incredible experience. The rocket sequence in first man will make you feel like you're along for the ride, or the spider tank footsteps in Ghost in the Shell is another great example to try. Can't wait to watch some old classics like Jurassic Park now with the new addition!

The Buttkicker BK-LFE in conjunction with your subwoofer really helps to create an immersive experience when watching movies with a good LFE sound tracks. I'm really addicted to the effect now, watching an action or sci-fi flick without a Buttkicker would be like watching the movie on a 2734; screen. There are three sizes of Buttkickers, the BK-LFE is the largest size. If you have a powerful subwoofer, you really need the largest Buttkicker to go with it. However, I found that the LFE tracks in newer movies (Star Wars VII, VIII, Mad Max Fury Road, etc) have a wider dynamic range than older movies, and the loudest passages can cause the Buttkicker to 34;bottom out34; and it sounds like an impact wrench when it hits the stops. This doesn't happen very often, but unfortunately, it often coincides with very intense scenes (Kylo Ren interrogating Rey in Star Wars VII, first 30 minutes of Mad Max), and it can cause you to drop out of the 34;suspension of disbelief34; key moments in the movie. To that end, I am using two Buttkicker BK-LFE's on my sofa, and the effect is absolutely fantastic, intense shaking with no unwanted rattling. You are really there.

By far the best bass shaker this side of the Crowson Shadow 8 motion actuator. I started with the Aura pro's and they work good but are weak below about 30hz. The Buttkicker LFE is good all the way down to 5hz. and is at least 3x stronger at every frequency, prob more. Be sure to power it with an amplifier that has a flat response down as low as possible. I use a QSC RMX 1450 bridged with stellar results. The QSC is good for about 1300 watts RMS and is flat all the way down to 5hz. I mounted the unit on a piece MDF bolted to the metal frame under my dual reclining couch and it really compliments the 6-1834; subwoofers in our home theater.

I own and use regularly two other Buttkickers, both LTE. They were okay, but rattled and would blow the fuse on the Buttkicker supplied pre-amp. So I wanted to upgrade. Well, I could not be more satisfied! Movies and music 34;feel34; incredible! Simply screwed it into the inside base of my recliner and boom! Not sure why the company is always out of stock on items and back ordered on most of their stock?

Was able to install where we wanted it and it worked flawlessly, able to induce vibrations at varying frequencies in the project.
