Mission: Byte Back’s mission is to provide a pathway of inclusive tech training that leads to living-wage careers.

Results: The economic trajectory of working adults who lack the formal education and tech skills to secure living-wage employment is trending downward. Byte Back is making a lasting impact guiding our clients to build family-sustaining careers. In FY17 (ending 6/30/2017), 60 graduates reported obtaining jobs increasing their annual income by an estimated $24,000.The reported hourly wage for these jobs was $15.98, more than $2.00 an hour above 2017 living wage in DC per DOES. There were 171 enrollments in certification classes and 92 clients became certified, exceeding our goal of 70 certifications. Additionally, there were 579 enrollments in 63 digital literacy courses.
