I've tried several other scanners, and while they could all read basic diagnostic codes, none of them could read the SRS codes (airbag light) for my Hyundai. One scanner could do it if I shelled out an extra $60 for a software update. I decided not to because there didn't seem to be a guarantee I'd get my money's worth. Then I found BlueDriver, and their site told me exactly what kinds of codes it could read from my vehicle, so I decided I might as well get the fancy wireless scanner. This is by far the best OBDII scanner I've used. The amount of information it's capable of accessing is beyond other scanners but with a smaller price tag. I was able to diagnose my airbag light and some other codes were revealed that I was unaware of. The app provides suggestions for likely fixes with each code. It provides realtime data on a variety of metrics, and it even was able to clear my tire pressure light! My tire pressure is perfectly fine but the warning light had been blinking for a year and I'd been ignoring it. So much nicer now that it's gone for good! One nice thing about the app is that it doesn't require you to create an account. I was half expecting that, but the app stays out of your way and is easy to use.Everyone should have this scanner. It will help you know what's wrong with your car with the least amount of complication and will help prevent you from getting ripped off by a dealer or mechanic.
