Me and my brother love cars... only problem is that we're still in school and we can't do very much. We both own cars of our own, and we used the obd2 scanner to read codes and to help us diagnose what the hell was wrong with his engine when it started idling extremely low. Attempting to fix something when you don't know what's wrong with it is hard, especially with something as complex as a car. This Bluedriver has helped us and has treated us well so far even giving us reasons why the problem was occurring. The only thing that was left for us to do was find the part and get the right tools since we're just starting off as mechanics.

I have 2 of these and they perform great. Easy to use and provides a lot of information as well as possible solutions to error codes.

Great must have tool. It doesn't ask almost anything except the mileage. The rest can be taken from the VIN Code and from the online databases. Provides complete information about car and it's critical parts, can help to get ready for the emission test. Very useful! The support is quick, reliable and efficient.

I purchased this less than 90 days ago. I left it in a vehicle and forgot to take it out. Considering im a mechanic at a rental car company i have no way of finding it. Is this bluedriver scanner able to be tracked by gps or something need help. Trying to avoid having to re buy it...

I purchased this because my fixd device would not work. I used this for the first time and it was great It saved me from going to the dealer. It diagnosed errors my fixd never showed me. It has payed for itself.

This OBD2 port sensor is great for my car the only thing I recommend is that you guys please read the description of the product. This sensor only works on certain cars and certain years from the listed cars. If your car and year isn't listed then this sensor isn't for you. Most of the reviews are from cars that are on the list but year isn't or vice versa the year is listed but not the car.

Well worth the money does the job. It does all it says and is worth it but if your a technician is still have a another scanner that bigger a does a little more . But very surprised by how good it is.

I immediately liked having a small plug in component that paired easily with my IPhone and IPad. While parked the IPad gives me the large screen to display diagnostics, read/view/play the extensive manual, and associated repair database. While driving the IPhone display shows 5 choices oflive real-time data in one of three formats gauge,graph,or digital. Then after a test drive, post repair, to have a review log (PDF file) of the ride with up to 5 real-time parameters to verify performance was the proof of repair I wanted. Scanning repair codes, if needed sending the repair file off to a mechanic and resting are very straightforward and easy. I was able to take a nagging turbo low boost issue and resolve it quickly and efficiently in my first use with the BlueDriver. I was literally flying blind and guessing without it. When I either lack time or desire, my average cost of diagnostic repair with my mechanic is $500-1500. The $120 purchase cost of BlueDriver has already paid for itself many times over. It added a level of fun, confidence, and repair interest that I haven't had in along time. Well engineered and executed.

Bought to troubleshoot an airbag light in my 2004 toyota corolla. Worked wonderfully for that purpose, and has since worked to troubleshoot and fix problems on other cars (Honda, hyundai, etc) in the years since.Way more functionality than a generic OBD2 scanner with in-depth reports for each problem, including suggested fixes...Saves time googling once you have your code!
