This thing is surprisingly really cool! Probably the best money and time saver you could buy yourself for personal use of knowing what’s going on with your car! I absolutely love this thing! For anyone that doesn’t know how to read how this works and leaves bad reviews needs to remember not only can a 10,000 dollar reader can’t tell you exactly what is wrong with your car but like this nice 100 dollar reader can point you in the direction you need to go! Perfect for the everyday person that wants to save money and time it’s a must have, especially for road trips! Thanks Bluedriver I love it!

I have bought 4 of these. I buy BMW and other high end where I travel to pick them up and drive them back anywhere from 1000 miles. I wouldn’t travel without this. It reads my codes and let’s me clear what I need to in order to get home. Easy to use read. Recommend

Had to call bluebird to figure out the app UI and once the device was set up it made it so easy! Plug and play for most cars although on my older card I had to type the VIN number in while on the newer cards it cs an find it. Highly recommended as it can show pending and permanent codes. The guy at autozone said to pick one up as the one they have told me I didn’t have any code whilst the one the guy had was this and it had three codes with a check engine light on! Crazy how good this stuff works. I was originally hesitant to buy this cause I’ve had bad experiences with Bluetooth drivers in the past but it’s safe to say they fixed that!

Had some issues getting it to work with android but after some fussing with it I did get it to work 1 time.Hope I don't need it in a hurry.

My car kept getting abs light and 4wd / traction control disabled fault lights after it rained. I knew it was likely an abs speed sensor but every time I brought it to my mechanic he couldn't get a code.I was going to just buy all four sensors and replace them myself but a friend told me about this scanner. I hooked it up without the fault light even on and it was able to go into the history and pull the codes. Now I know which one it is which will save me time and money. I was shocked that it could pull the code without the fault light on, everyone else told me I would need to wait for the abs light to come back on before scanning it which would only happen every couple of weeksI know there a better pro-grade scanners out there but this did its job when my mechanic just kept telling me to come back with the light on and when I did he told me his scanner couldn't communicate with the cars computer.I'll break even on this first repair since the savings of the 3 sensors I wouldn't have needed is the same price as this scanner, and now I don't have to bring it to a mechanic if anything pops up in the future.You can also print the report to PDF which is great for record keeping. Mine was a company vehicle so I sent it to my boss to justify the expense on my company card.

My car throws an engine light and I ran it twice gave me two different codes. My mechanic friend just laughed.

Its a really great product and it is affordable. Its not like the expensive scanner that has a bunch of different feature but beside that it has what you need to check codes. Its a great tool for people that like to do the job themselves or for those who want to know what the issue might be before taking it to the mechanic. It offers video on how to fix issue. It recommends what other people have replaced in order to fix certain problems. Live scan works wonder.

My Dodge didn’t want to show exact error code to help me figure out what’s wrong. This scanner did the job. It’s definitely not perfect, but it can be useful most of the time.
