Mission: The Council on American-Islamic Relations' Florida chapter (CAIR-Florida), started in 2001, works to enhance the understanding of Islam, encourage dialogue, protect civil liberties, empower American Muslims, and build coalitions that promote justice and mutual understanding. We are a BIPOC-led, 501(c)3 nonprofit organization with a long-term, proactive approach that prioritizes progress through individual, interpersonal, institutional, and systemic change to create a healthier and safer environment for American Muslims, immigrants, refugees, prisoners, youth, and other vulnerable communities.  (Less)
