I use my barbell for everything from bicep curls to lateral pulls. This bar is very heavy which is a plus. It's a workout to lugging it around.

Overall good for basic lat pulldown setup at home. Would be good if manufacturer installs thick rubber grips for comfortable grips while doing lat pulldowns.

I ordered one of those pulley systems a few weeks back to level up my home workouts a little, and after a week or so I figured that a lat bar will be a good idea and I found this one at a price I could live with. I figured I'd get what I paid for so I actually looked at reviews after I ordered, but I remember someone mentioning how heavy it was. I concur that it is heavy, but to me, I can deal with it. I did notice some peeling after the first use, again I figured it wouldn't be the best quality qt the price I was paying, but thats what I wanted to pay. Overall it seems sturdy. The piece that connects to the pulley system rotates and seems sturdy. The bar itself is a nice size where you can get a nice wide grip and a nice thickness. The grip is a little aggressive soil that turns you off avoid. Otherwise I'd recommend.

I have a plate and screws in my wrist, so the non-rolling bar didn't work well for me and was downright painful at times. This one rotates nicely and doesn't cause me problems. Should have waited longer to use it, though. The rubber smell sunk into my hands and was pretty strong. lol

Very pleased with my Nineteen Dollar pull down bar, so watch the price on this one. Mine appears new (all gym/steel stuff has a bit of a smell and lube), and works as described, have used it for several months on my pulley system.
