Who knew so many people don't know how to use a wrench?!? I was worried about all the bolts won't tighten bad reviews. Well, this uses locking nuts, and the instruction manual says you need a wrench in addition to the Allen wrench it comes with. Very simple. It is solid and holds all my dumbbells of various shapes and sizes and types just fine - even the 30 pounder. See photo. 5 stars. Would give 4 1/2 if I could - only complaint is the STRONG chemical smell. Smells usually don't bother me, but this was on another level. I certainly wouldn't eat off of it!

I really like the frame itself. The hardware was junk and I had to buy all new screws and bolts. That was very disappointing.

Assembling this thing is a royal pain, Especially if you don't have a helper. It's small and lightweight but its got a mind of its own while you're trying to assemble it.I currently have 10's 12's, 15's, 25's 30's on this rack. Well the rack is definitely strong enough to hold the 25s and 30s, it's not designed to. Trying to get them out of the rack is frustrating because due to the large size (of the heavier weights), you have to remove the dumbbell either above or below to lift it out. Otherwise, they are all bumped up against each other and you can't get any of them out. Hindsight being 20/20, I should have gotten one of the shelf style racks.

I read the reviews and saw some notes about the sturdiness of the rack. Although it initially wobbled like the reviews said, that was eliminated once the weight of the dumbbells were placed on the rack. It leveled out and looks great in my garage gym! It was worth giving this company a chance over higher priced competitors. I love it!

I love this item- the only reason I didn't give it a 5 star was because the rubber pieces that are a cushion for the weights don't stay on well.

I needed a small rack to organize the set of dumbbells I keep at my partner's house and get them up off the floor. This fit the bill perfectly. I have 30, 22, 18, 12, and 8 lbs in ascending order bottom to top. They are all different brands, some with wider handles than others, but they all fit and the rack is very sturdy. Pleased with this purchase.

Great rack! Very sturdy. Easy to asseme.It did wobble a little until weights were added. Once we loaded it with weights the rack stayed still.

I had ended up with quite a range of weights that were all over my living room. I needed a better solution. This worked great! It is small and doesn't take up much space but holds all that I need. I have 5s, 8s, 10s, 13s, and 15s on it. They are all neoprene coated and various brands. I was worried about the 13 as it has a really thick grip part but it fit just fine!I have not had a problem with it staining my weights. My fingers did get a bit black from the hardware when putting it together, but I wiped the holders before placing them on and it hasn't been a problem.A well priced solution to multiple dumbbells!

This is what I needed to get my dumbbells off the ground. It is sturdy and the assembling was OK. The nuts would not screw all the way in by hand and I had to use pliers to make this work which scratched the black paint on the nuts. Use a wrench. Don't make my mistake. Minor issue and I don't really mind.What I do mind is the smell. I have no idea where they stored this but the box smelled rotten and moldy. Just nasty. Everything inside smelled this bad too even though it was nicely packed in separate plastic wrappers and not dirty. I left it in my room for a day and hoped it would go away but the whole room smelled moldy now. Earlier today I sprayed bleach all over it and washed it off and I am letting it dry outside in the sun. I hope that will fix this. I have 3 separate plastic pieces and treated them separate with bleach and they still smell. I am NOT exaggerating here. I am not very sensitive to smell but this was/is too much.

The max weight at the bottom I believe is supposed to be 25lbs. I have 30s on the rack. To comfortably rack the weights you may need to skip a space in between weight sizes (i.e. 30s skip a slot 25s so on). Also, the spacing will help spare fingers from possible pinching or injury while racking and un-racking.Putting the rack together you will need an extra tool- pliers or something similar (not provided), to help you grip while you tighten the nut with the (provided) Allen key. Using the extra tool for tightening will help keep the track from feeling/seeming wobbly or useless.Overall this is a good product and I'd buy again/recommend.
