I’m breaking these catboots in slow and steady. I think they may outlast me! Handsome and well made boots.

Definitely a knock off brand, not enough fabric to cover the foam. Tongue of both boots would have ripped after 1 or 2 uses. Absolutely returning these! Ridiculous!

I love the boots, they are comfortable especially because I’m on my feet all day. The only thing I didn’t like is the quality. I’ve had the boot for about two months and the inside of one of the boots started to rip which causes a bit of uncomfort when walking.

The boots fit perfectly

These fit good and I wore them for hours doing yardwork right out of the box.Have worn them several times and love them. These have a bigger toe box.The way the soles are made I think they will last longer than my pervious pair.

Good boot needs little braking in time

These problems honestly have more to do with my foot and less with the boot itself just putting it out there. I have wide fat feet and I weigh well over 250.I really wanted to like these boots. The quality of the leather looks really good and thick,I like the laces which I can't say for every boot unfortunately. I like the look of the boot.I gave it about 2 weeks to see if it just needed to be broken in, but in the end it was no good.There's 2 things about this boot.1. It's narrow. I ordered wide and it's still really narrow. I feel my foot pressing into the side of the heel of the boot, and while it doesn't seem like a big deal wearing it for 5 minutes, after 8 hours on your feet you're going to start limping.2. At the top of the boot, near the toes or at the beginning of the shoe laces, there's this very apparent and very hard line laying on top of you foot. I don't know what this is, or why it's there, but it feels like a piece of sharp plastic pressing against your foot. Another thing that won't bother you at first but after being in them all day will probably kill you.These may be things that narrow footed people don't ever experience, but I'd say stay away if you're wide footed.

Husband is a hard person to shop for and he actually likes these boots.

Ive had these boots for 6 months now and they still look new! The steel toe is great and protective. Ive had a couple different insoles since ive had them so changing them out every couple months is a pain but the boots are great. No problems with the sole falling off or tears in the top cuff.

I'm surprised to see the negative reviews of the Caterpillar brand. If you use boots hard in rough environments you must expect some wear and tear. You must keep them clean. Wipe with a damp cloth when dirty. Saddle soap and Neatsfoot oil occasionally. I have used the Caterpillar brand of Wolverine boots for many years. Always very good quality. The Second Shift boots I've been wearing for 2 weeks have excellent construction and finish.
