These fit good and I wore them for hours doing yardwork right out of the box.Have worn them several times and love them. These have a bigger toe box.The way the soles are made I think they will last longer than my pervious pair.

Ive had these boots for 6 months now and they still look new! The steel toe is great and protective. Ive had a couple different insoles since ive had them so changing them out every couple months is a pain but the boots are great. No problems with the sole falling off or tears in the top cuff.

Bought my first pair of these in 2013, and am still very well satisfied with that version. Lining then high quality and tongue width sufficient to prevent weed seeds, rocks, etc., from entering boot. Bought a second pair 3/20 so as to have boots to use while welt on initial pair is being repaired (stitching on one boot welt surrendered to time, so needs renewing). Unfortunately, manufacturer has since decreased tongue width so that even when boots fully laced, the tongue no longer covers socks at ankle height and outside material (rocks, sticks, weed seeds, chainsaw chips, etc,) can freely enter boots and cause much discomfort. Big mistake that recent manufacturing change. Still, boots fit well and boot tread material is great. It's just a pain that the boots are otherwise great except for the tongue design and manufacture. Also, there is a material decline in quality of the interior lining material now used on this boot,5-2-20 Addendum. I exchanged my first pair and the just received replacement boots of this same model has a much more heavily padded tongue which materially (sic) improves boot tongue performance, evidently by pressing more on front of ankle and thereby keeping tongues from shifting laterally and allowing socks and ankle to become exposed. The tongue in the replacement boots is still substantially narrower than on my 2013 model, but the increased padding does seem to sufficiently solve the ankle and sock exposure problem seen in the first received 2020 pair. Also, the leather on the uppers of this replacement boot set is thicker than that on the first. Point is, there does currently seem to be considerable variability in the quality of manufacture of these boots. Therefore, if you do encounter a manufacturing defect in this boot model the first time arounf, there is some chance a return and replacement might provide you a better, more acceptable boot.

I liked the shoes especially at the price I have got it at.

Wish they'd held up a little longer. We were hoping to get a year out of these, but I think we'll be doing good to make 8-9 months. My husband runs heavy equipment, and he's in and out of an excavator through the week. He's water proofred them twice to keep his feet drier. They did come water proofed, and that did last a couple of months, but they'll need it again before you wear them out. Perfect fit, and he says they're comfortable. They're decent quality for sure, just not as long-lasting as we'd hoped.

When used everyday these are 6-8 month boots. Won???t last for years on end but for the price not bad. Break in period bareable. Overall pleased.

Buy half size up

I needed new shoes due to serious medical feet problems. I came across these shoes, and for the price, color (black), wide toe box, slip-resistance, they were perfect...UNTIL I tried to put the insoles my doctor gave me and tried to put them on. Because the default insoles are not removable, the shoes became too tight for me right around where tongue of the boot meets the metatarsal guard/vamp/instep. Not having time or money to return and replace with a bigger size, I took my knife and made two small incisions in the metatarsal guard/vamp/instep on each side of each boot right under the last eyelet. This gave me the room I needed with the new insoles. RECOMMENDATIONS: Make the insole removable or make the metatarsal guard/vamp/instep part more flexible.

Hurts my heels as I am breaking them seems like a good quality work boot

Really like them so far. Nice fit and finish, feel comfortable, makes you feel you can walk anywhere. I take one star away, because I wish they had an insole with more cushion to it. I regularly put extra insoles in my shoes to protect the actual factory insoles and for extra cushioning, so they are fine now. Use them for everyday stuff, not construction or any hard work. Did run with them while walking the dog a few times to break them in a bit and test them out, and they were suprisingly comfortable. Let's see how they hold up with time.

Would give it five stars however I have had the boots for about two months and the laces already broke... Why don't hey not sell quality laces with boots that have metal hardware on them. Other than that very comfortable quality boots, highly recommend!

They are wearable. With my inserts installed, they are a little snug, but my experience with this model is that the leather stretches over the first week or so. I may go a half size up, next time, as I think my feet are a bit larger with age.

My husband likes that they truly are waterproof, however they are a little tight and he is a true 10.5 in shoe size. After a couple of days wearing them they did stretch a bit and now they fit great. I would recommend these boots but take into consideration if you have a wider foot.

Comfortable and seems to be keeping my feet dry, so far have been suitable for my utility inspection job, walk several miles a day for 8-11hrs a day and they have yet to bother my feet. Only complaint is the glued insole and lack of winter insulation.

I ordered 8 wides & received 8 mediums? The box said 8 wide , the shoe is stamped 8 mediums ! I can wear mediums but was hoping to try wides to see if they might feel better after my work day . Maybe the next order in 4 months will be correct !
