Fits fine, but doesn't hold up too well. I bought mine less than five months ago, and already the steel toe is showing past the leather

I'm 5'10" 170-180lbs depending on what I eat or drink that week. I have large calves from a lifetime of riding a bicycle and these boots pinched me a bit. They are starting to break in nicely now. Great quality for the $$

03-05-2018 The boots are only 2 months old and have been warm less than 12x and they have an annoying pop sound every step, it drives me crazy!

I cannot recommend this product. The steel toe fabric inner liner wore out in a few months. The steel toe has caught my toe nails constantly! I've broken or cracked many toe nails because the fabric was too thin and wore away. The sole has also cracked, split, or otherwise lost their effectiveness. The color has also bled an stained my socks a dark piss yellow. Is not oil resistant soles. Honestly... Not at all worth the money and absolutely disappointed that this product was spotted poor, given the company of CAT and the expectations I put on this.

I got these on October 28, the other day I noticed that felt wet, took a good lock at the boots and they had cracked all over the sides of the rubber sole. I work 10 hour days mostly inside. I clean and oil these month with mink oil. These are unacceptable, what’s the warranty on these?

Also these took about 2 weeks to break in with looks of toe and angle pain until then.

I love caterpillar boots, for the last decade I have bought a few pair of the caterpillar Salvo work boot. They have been the best boots and outlasted everything else I have tried. They seem to have stopped making that boot so I decided to go with the caterpillar 2nd shift because it seemed almost identical to the Salvo. In the department of looks it is almost identical, everything else about it sucks. I have had the boot for nearly four months now and the stitching in the leather is coming apart, they were not waterproof to begin with but water resistant instead, the tread is barely even Warren because I have not used the boots very much. I generally get about 2 years of use out of a pair of Salvo boots but it seems that the second shift boots only have about 4 months worth of life in them. I would not recommend this to anybody who works for a living or needs to depend on a comfortable ergonomic strong boot.

I bought these for my husband who works construction building houses. We got the boots in September, it's now December and the soles are cracking, one of the steel plates are coming of 5, laces are torn. Didn't last nearly as long as I expected by reading others reviews. Not impressed.
