After a lot of research, I got these for my son who needed a pair for auto shop and insisted on steel toe. My son was born with clubfoot (since corrected) and now has a slight deformity along with hammertoe, one flat foot and a leg-length discrepancy so wears a small lift in one shoe.These are excellent boots for those with problem feet! It has a roomy toe box so the toes don’t squish together toe knuckles don’t rub on the top. They have good arch support for those with flat feet. My son finds them very comfortable and they required no break-in time, so now he doesn’t believe me that boots usually need to be broken in.

Bought these on Nov 16th 2019 and they are still holding up. I fabricate granite countertops for a living so they go through a beating day after day! Good boots..pretty comfortable when broke in.. Run a little big in size but all boots do. Definitely recommend for work.

It is possible that I have an underlying condition... not severe at all... but these boots, after wearing them the full day, leave my ankles sore. Its not a rubbing issue, its a structural issue in my own leg.The boots are sturdy and protect well. They are not too heavy. But I was hoping that these boots would not aggravate a mild case of sciatica. But given the issue that I am having with slight discomfort in my right leg, from the buttocks to inside the hamstring and then at the ankle, I can say that the support that these boots gave me did not help. After working in them all day, they might even aggravate the issue.For anyone else,I'm sure that the boots will work very well for you.
