Toe box good, arch is fair, and the width is very narrow.

I have had the boots for about 8 months now and I use them pretty much daily and they are great boots especially for the price. I have zero complaints and I am in tech for welding and I use them outside of school for normal field work I have only had to clean them one time with no special treatment and I have stepped on hot metal twice without the souls melting.

not good shoes, when wet you might as well be walking on ice. Also somehow there's some random hard piece of something stuck in between the layers only on one side of one shoe that hurts when I walk sometimes. The cheap ones from Walmart have better quality.

My husband stayed hurting all over especially his back. Took us forever to realize his shoes were a big part of the problem. These are comfortable and light weight as well having the durability he needs for work. Highly recommend!

This item was way better than I expected. The shoes were more than half off because it was a no package and were being sold as a like new item. When I received the item, the box was damaged and the shoes were perfect! I was not expecting a box and it didn't matter anyway. The shoes are brand new!!! I would buy then again! Perfect fit at a perfect price!

I've gone through a lot of boots, some of them only lasting a couple months. These boots are built tough, and I have had zero problems in the year I've owned them. I've used them doing residential maintenance, construction, and farm work. I wear them pretty much all day everyday and they're hanging in there. They're not indestructible, but the reviews complaining about them falling apart (epsecially in 2 months) must have been flukes. Don't let the negative reviews sway you! These are worth the money. I'll probably buy these again when I finally kill this pair. Hopefully they'll be in stock a couple years from now.

I working construction.I don't even think about the shoes when working. They're that comfortable.The lace design allows you to leave it loose or snug it up.It doesn't go too high into the ankle so I can still squat without bending the shoe.Last pair of CATs lasted five years before even beginning to show wear.For work shoes, I'll never stray from CAT.Would also make a great hiking boot.

Not very comfortable

I have used these for farm work, construction, welding and mechanic shop work. Been happy with them and they've held up well.They're a little heavy, but quite comfortable.I fit right between a size 12 and 13, I ordered these in a 13 and they aren't tight at all, it aren't loose either.The included inserts are okay, but I have a very high arch so I always need external inserts. After lots of use, concrete dust, mud, welding/grinding sparks and exposure and even grease/oil from working on planes, they have held up very well. They clean up well, I use Bick 4 to treat them occasionally and they take it very well. Very last picture, it shows after I just treated conditioned them. The color usually lightens back within a day or two The steel toe is a little short in length across the shoe, it barely really covers my toes, if something we're to fall I don't think it would protect my feet all that well.The traction is fine, on an oily floor they don't do the best, but it's certainly not bad at all. The flex to my feet very well so my feet don't get stuck on things as much as with other boots.The waterproofing is okay, it's up the the toes where the laces start, so an inch of water or so, not to bad.The laces are pretty good, haven't had to replace them which I usually would have had to do by now on most boots.The black material around the toes has started to peel and fade some, I'm not sure what it is made of, might be pleather.The strings have left a dark impression in the leather where it gets tightened. Not a big deal, but something I'll mention.Overall it's a very nice boot and lasted longer then most boots I've had before. I will probably buy them again when these quit.

Good quality boots for working around the yard. My feet feel secure and safe.

great boot for about two and a half month before the right boot started digging into the right side of my foot. made me sad, i was really liking them too...
