Love the packaging and selection of this kit. I admit, of all the kits I bought from this brand I worry about quality the most on this one. I haven't had the opportunity to really dig in and test some of these close to their specs, so I won't say anything else. That being said, I have loved every one of this brands kits thus far.

I absolutely LOVE all the EEEEE Shop components assortments, HI quality of the parts, wide selection, rare 1/2 and 1 WATT Resistors, and BEAUTIFULLY CONVENIENT packaging. No one else comes close on all these positives as EEEEE. I have bought all 12 available kits by now, and some of my friends in Electronics and HAM/Amateur Radio have also stocked up on these. I've been slowly collecting most of the different component sets that these guys make and it's really nice to have all these parts easily at hand in their wonderfully labeled and secure packaging. This set is transistors and consists of a lot of different parts which will come in handy for all sorts of projects, and having all this variety gives you many more options for designs. So far, the few that I've used have worked as expected.

It's great to get so many transistors at a good price. I wanted the 3904s and 3906s. Getting this kit seemed like a smarter choice than getting them from an electronics supplier because I only needed a few.As for function , yeah - they are doing exactly what 3904s and 3906s are supposed to do when they are in these big heat shedding packages. Well, big compared to the little SMD flavors.

I've been restoring vintage Heathkit gear and so far every transistor I've needed has been in this kit. I like the clearly labeled and sorted compartments - overall a classy product for a very reasonable price. I did print off the spec chart from the product page to help with selecting the proper substitutions.
