Fan on my AC Condensor stopped working. It would turn slowly if I helped it get started, so I knew the capacitor wasn't giving it enough power. Replaced capacitor and it works great now.

Daughter who lives in Florida called and said a/c wasn't working, she said it was blowing air but not cold, said outside part was making a noise, told her to send me a video of it, got video and between me and YouTube university figure it was capacitor, ordered capacitor and she watched a YouTube video on how to replace, runs great now. A/C tech was going to charge $99.00 just to make a call.

My only 3 year old capacitor was weak. I could tell the difference immediately after install this item. My AC unit continued to have intermittent issues so I called the AC tech. He opened the access panel and quickly took issue with the replacement capacitor. After a 15 minute discussion and a threat of legal action, we parted ways. At first the discussion began with me not knowing what I was doing and only a trained tech could replace the cap. AC people have a stronger monopoly than the AMA. Then it morphed into voiding the warranty. That's where the discussion moved into making lawyers rich. Now you are warned.

Worked like a charm. My neighbor is an AC tech and has replaced this a few times since we got the whole AC system replaced 12 years ago. They don't last as long they used to because they're not filled with nasty PCB's anymore. My outside unit kept on randomly freezing up because this thing was starting to fail. I'm taking away one star because it not the exact same size as the OEM capacitor so I had to jury rig it in there with zip ties. The outside diameter is way bigger, but it's a match as far as the specifications for my Carrier MDL 25HPA530A0031010 HEAT PUMP.Not sure why there's a rating for durability here since only time will tell if it's gonna last.
