This is an interesting concept, but most of the holes contained drilling debris. Certainly not a nicely finished product.

The holes are very imprecisely drilled, so much so that the pegs would not fit in 90% of the holes I tried. If you can't use the holes to peg the points, it is useless.

Please DON'T buy this to give as a gift to anyone that plays cribbage on a regular basis. I was embarrassed after my friend showed me what was wrong with the board. The holes are terrible, the wood splinters are still sticking out a few of the holes, the holes are not lined up, the pegs don't fit very well, and there isn't even a finish hole! If that stuff doesn't matter to you then this board should be OK for you, but do yourself a favor and don't give this one as a gift...

I love this little cribbage board it reminds me of the one we had when I was a child. My mom taught me out to play and I've recently taught my boyfriend how to play. I'm giving it 4 stars because some of the holes are tight and I could see there being some breakage problems with pegs if someone isn't careful and some of the holes weren't completely clear, they still had some wood in them from being drilled out, regular play will help eliminate that just remember that these pegs are plastic so they do have the ability to break as with any plastic peg for a board like this (Usually a hot safety pin tip can help to pull out broken pegs!). It comes as is, the board in a box that it slides into perfectly. The back of the board houses the 9 pegs for game play so no lost pieces!

This was cheaply made. Half the holes aren't even bore out all the way. Not worth it.

I was looking for a 3 person board and was attracted to the pattern, silly me didn't even see the "29" until I opened the package. The holes are a bit tight for the pegs, but over time I'm sure they will loosen. The only detractor I personally find is that there is no way to track how many games each player has won when playing a "tournament"
