liked the design and conceptneeds to be better package so all is kept together

I gave this to my grandson, who loves wooden puzzles. While they give suggested designs, he quickly made beautiful designs of his own with the pieces. He got many other gifts for Christmas, but this puzzle was the one that held his entire attention.

This puzzle is of good quality, the pieces are colorfully painted and pretty thick. It is definitely helpful that the instructions also display a way to fit all the pieces back into the casing. Our 4 year old daughter enjoys playing with the set very much and on top of the different puzzle options suggested, she can create her own. The reason why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is the fact that it doesn't have a cover. We ended up placing it in a ziplock bag to ensure no pieces get lost.

My 2.5 year old dumps out all the pieces, picks up a few, and quickly loses interest after putting a couple on the board. To solve the whole board without looking at the cheat sheet is infinitely frustrating, even for me as an adult, so I don't know what child geniuses the other reviewers are talking about. Perhaps if your child isn't a “completion-ist” and can be satisfied just putting a few rows together, otherwise you better not lose the single cover sheet that shows the solution. Also there is no container provided and 40 light wood pieces that loosely fit in the frame, so it's only a matter of time before you lose some.

Bought this for my 7 year old for Christmas and definitely the best money I ever spent. She loves it! Nothing else keeps her attention for long but she'll play with this forever and I love it too.

We bought this for my son for Christmas. We've all enjoyed playing with it! Lots of fun!

These blocks were paramount in keeping my grandson engaged during the Christmas holidays for hours at a time.

Bought two, one for my son (4) and one for niece (7), they both loved it. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't intrigued playing it myself. Two thumbs up!

I wanted to give my grandchildren who are teenagers something to do to use their brains. Something to do besides being on their phones or iPads.
