Nice puzzle wish it came with something other than the tray to store the pieces in

This puzzle is an EXCELLENT puzzle. I love the option to create your own picture and play tanagrams or play Tetris. This puzzle should be labeled for ages 3-99. I LOVE Tetris and this game is challenging enough for an adult because it doesn't always fit together the first try. You have to redo and redo until they do. It is a great way to teach patience, problem solving and positioning. My daughter struggles with turn /flip over. This is teaching her to try it the other way. In other words...this puzzle is a challenge for all.Second, someone said this puzzle has an illustration of a gun. IT DOES NOT! See my photo of the paper advertisement that came with it.Third, I think the pieces are a perfect thickness. It is wooden and colorful. The board is 7x10. Honestly if it were any larger, it probably would not be any fun due to the challenge of it. It's perfect and I just ordered another for my mom. She loves games that keep her mind sharp. I highly recommend!

I enjoy getting games for my kids that keep them entertained but also engage their brain. The wood is sturdy. You do have to find a way to store it; we just put ours into a canvas zipper bag.

My 5 yr old loved this mechanical tetris game bcos it's easy to use, and I love it bcos doesn't require a phone or tablet, which reduces the average daily screen time

I ordered this for an adult who is working on rebuilding connections after a stroke. It's serving the purpose I'd intended.

This puzzle is of good quality, the pieces are colorfully painted and pretty thick. It is definitely helpful that the instructions also display a way to fit all the pieces back into the casing. Our 4 year old daughter enjoys playing with the set very much and on top of the different puzzle options suggested, she can create her own. The reason why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is the fact that it doesn't have a cover. We ended up placing it in a ziplock bag to ensure no pieces get lost.

My 2.5 year old dumps out all the pieces, picks up a few, and quickly loses interest after putting a couple on the board. To solve the whole board without looking at the cheat sheet is infinitely frustrating, even for me as an adult, so I don't know what child geniuses the other reviewers are talking about. Perhaps if your child isn't a “completion-ist” and can be satisfied just putting a few rows together, otherwise you better not lose the single cover sheet that shows the solution. Also there is no container provided and 40 light wood pieces that loosely fit in the frame, so it's only a matter of time before you lose some.
