There does not seem to be a single card shuffler that gets consistent rave reviews. It seems the nature of these things is that cards get jammed, or cheap plastic components break. But this inexpensive little manual-crank model gets consistently mentioned among the more reliable performers, so I gave it a shot. What can I say? It perfectly handles two decks, and shuffled them well with no jamming so far. It couldn't be easier to use, and as others have pointed out, it's a lot quieter, simpler, and lower maintenance than battery powered models. In my house, we play a lot of poker, but also card games like Ticket To Ride that have huge decks requiring tons of repeated shuffling during the game. The cards wear out pretty fast when you've got an amateur manually shuffling them over and over. This device will not only speed up game play, it will also dramatically extend the life of the cards. No bending, no jamming cards into each other. I wish I'd bought this a long time ago.

Playing 6-deck card game so use two shufflers (one shuffles 6 decks), this 2-deck really aids in a great mix of cards.

It worked as expected. I would add that a firm steady turn of the crank works best. Not too slow or it can jam. We enjoyed getting our turn to shuffle the cards. We used this with Five Crowns and it helped to speed up the game, as regular shuffling can be quite slow with a double deck.

1. Love the box it comes in. It's so reto old Vegas.2. It works. Need to shuffle a minimum of 5 times? I wish someone would do a study on how many times you have to shuffle.3. No cons I can come up with.

I bought this thing a year ago and only cause it was red, lol, then the shock it was not Batterie operated so i am like ok try it out and it is the Best Buy ever we play cards literally every weekend and still works like when we first got it! In the past 20 years we had at least 3-4 batterie once so this is worth 5 stars

We use this shuffler for various card games, and a couple cards are smaller than your standard poker cards. It still works, but you do get some stoppages. A little bit of a reverse crank gets you going again on regular sized cards.Ours came without any rubber feet, not sure it comes with them, but I put 4 clear thin flat rubber bumpers on the round supports and it works like a charm.Watch out for the clear tray, it falls out when you pick it up and tilt it........Ask me how I know?Happy with this so far 2 weeks in, worth the money paid.

Great addition to playing UNO.It is extremely reliable. Do NOT be afraid of the manual crank. We bought a battery operated and worked one time. Returned. Bought this one and changed everything. Highly recommend.

This shuffler works well. The hand crank makes one feel they are doing something. The only complaint I have is that I wish the crank would come assembled and have a fitted box to accommodate the shuffler with the crank attached. I had to look more than a few places to find a box to fit the assembled item.

I think the hand crank shuffler may be better than the nearly identical battery operated versions, for two reasons. 1. No batteries. 2. If it jams you just crank in reverse for a sec to clear the jam. And a bonus is it is a little cheaper than the battery versions. I'm pleased.

We wanted an automatic card shuffler for older thumbs that don't shuffle cards very well. We chose the crank one so we wouldn't have to worry about buying batteries. It is easy to use, but until you get a hang of the rhythm and how loosely to stack the cards, it hangs up. It's easy enough to fix, but, somewhat annoying. It is better than hand shuffling!

So much more convenient than shuffling. Gets stuck intermittently, but overall worth it.

Three generations meet for game nights and kids can't shuffle cards yet. This is easy to use and they don't have to be helped when it is their turn to deal.

This is an awesome, reasonably priced shuffling machine. Now have had it for more than 2 years with getting regular use and not one issue with it at all!!
