Well this glove is really great as far as for education. However, it is not a great toy for children who may be rough or chew on things.The stylus on this model is not replaceable.My son is a chewer (7years old), and ended up chewing on the cord of the stylus. So of course the stylus will not work now. When I contacted Leap Frog to buy a new stylus, I was told the stylus is not replaceable. The globe is just too expensive to not have replaceable parts especially for something such as a stylus.

I love this globe, my son plays with it all the time and the games make it fun for him. My only complaint is that it doesn't tilt, so Antarctica and even bits of South America and Australia can be really hard to see. Otherwise it's awesome and I can see it getting a lot of use for many years.

My son is in Kindergarten and super curious about everything. I like that this globe has a fun way to engage him in learning about our planet each time he sits down to eat. Great job, Leapfrog.

The Magic Globe is lightweight, user-friendly. Point the attached pen to any country and the adventure begins. The bright colors kept their interest and the loaded games helped students retain new information while reinforcing their self-confidence. I would recommend it to family and friends. I found it very useful, especially for elementary school students.

After a month, my 4.5 year old knows all the countries now. And everyday he is learning more things like capitals, geographic areas, animals and landmarks. Hands down the best gift we gave him. You just need to be a little careful about the stylus.

My 7yo son loves this globe! He enjoys playing with it independently but also loves quizzing us. More than just teaching countries and capitals, it has led to many great discussions about travel and other cultures. Truly, his favorite toy in many years.
