Mission: Providing emergency assistance to California Highway Patrol employees and scholarships to their children.
Results: Since 1982, the CHP 11-99 Foundation has provided over $45 million in assistance to CHP employees and their families, including $38 million in vocational and academic scholarships to dependents of CHP employees. In 2022, the 11-99 Foundation awarded $3 million in vocational and academic scholarship awards to over 1,000 recipients statewide. On average, the 11-99 Foundation provides $350,000 annually in emergency assistance and death benefits to CHP employees and their families (uniformed and civilian).
Target demographics: All CHP employees, uniformed, and non-uniformed, and their families. Adults and children ranging in age from birth to 65.
