Another CRC product that works as advertised.Used to clean up the intake valves on my 2017 Subaru with a direct injected turbo engine. As an ASE certified tech I like to try lots of different products/brands to find out what actually works as advertised so I can inform customers on what to use in place of that over priced Seafoam branded product. My DIT Subaru has 36k miles and randomly gets a rough idle and turbo boost issues every 3 to 5k miles thanks to the emissions systems and lack of a good Air Oil Seperator from the factory... the MAP sensor gets covered in oil and the intake valves are constantly getting dirty due to no fuel getting sprayed on them causing the issues mentioned above.CRC Electrical parts and Contact Cleaner is used to clean the MAP sensor safely. In the past I have been using Neutra 131 mixed with a little Super Tech Motor Treatment (Neutra is too thick by itself) in my Induction System Canister to clean the valves and combustion chamber on vehicles. Works great cleaning and is inexpensive to use, but I need to use an air compressor for it to work... not always practicle when I work outside my shop and at a customers house. This product is perfect for cleaning an engine when I'm away from the shop... it does cost a lot more compared to the other mixture I like to use but it cleans just as well.Follow the direction and let it heat soak for about an hour for best results.

I ran this product through my 2016 Kia Optima w/ 44k miles on it. The car has never had a prior valve cleaning done as I have had it since new. Always running full syn oil and top tier gas through it.I followed the directions exactly as stated on the packaging with the exception of much shorter spray bursts than the 30seconds stated on the package as any longer then just 3-5secords would have caused the car to stall. I injected the spray directly into the throttle body as I only needed to remove a single air duct to access the TB (that took all of 2min). The entire process took about 30 minutes. After the hour long heat soak, I started it up and saw no smoke. Took it out and it sputtered just a bit with some faint engine noises for about the first 5min of driving at about 40mph.Once out on the highway I worked it up to 65 (still no visible smoke), then proceeded to run it through another 15 minutes at speeds of 55-75mph. Engine was quiet and responsive no issues or codes. All in all I feel the car is running just a bit more responsive (it was already running well before applying this product with highway mpg 38). I did this as a preventative maintenance project. I think the real story here is just how clean this Kia 2.4 GDI engine appears to have been after 44k miles. Hearing all of these GDI carbon buildup stories regarding other types of GDI engines makes me wonder if carbon is rally an overrated concern on the Kia GDI's. Either way, I am happy with the product and the process and will now continue to apply this once ever 10k miles as suggested on the package. I can deal with the additional $13 a year for the peace of mind to go along with the syn oil and top tier fuel that I will continue to utilize in this car.

Excellent product saved myself a lot of money, shop couldn't figure it out but it was a valve tick that was fixed with the product.

I have a 2019 ford ranger with 2.3l ecoboost. About 32,000 miles. Hard use by the previous owner. First GDI engine I've owned, figured I'd try this. I only did half a can. But the engine runs smoother and a little quieter. I sprayed into the intake past the air filter box. No Negative issues so far, no noticeable odd overheating anywhere either.

It seemed like it worked from the smoke coming out of the exhaust. Couldn't see the valves but hoped it did good probably do it again several months later in the summer for the engine for heat

This stuff does work and it works well. But if you have a GDI engine and it's clogged up really good with carbon it's gonna take using this every thousand miles for like four or five cycles before it clears up the idle completely. I do recommend this product tho. IT's not bs and imo it does out perform seafoam. Seafoam might be a bit safer for use tho. This stuff packs a punch and you have to be careful how much you use it or you vehicle will run a bit weird. I'd say use it every thousand miles to clean you engine thoroughly and then every oil change. Not the every 10k miles they recommend. But more like eery 5 to 7000 miles.

It is too early to know if will produce side effects but I research a lot and this used follwoing the directions should not harm your Ecoboost engine. I can tell that my mile per gallon increased by 2 im the next 2 weeks after apply product. I have plans to use it as regular maintenance with every oil change. I apply this on a ford fusion with 27K miles.

This stuff works. Follow directions exactly. One thing you really don't want is sludge to build up on intake valves on direct injected engines.

seems to work very well and dissolves carb easily.Done the job for BMW 435 intake valves without walnut blasting. Had to use brush a bit.
