Even the holes were perfectly matched to the original ones so I didn't even need to measure. I even used the same screws. The only difference between the left and right side is that the slot that holds it in place is slightly larger on the top side. I would imagine it's interchangeable more or less.

Factory brackets were short and the replacements were longer to be able to hold more drawer weight .

I've had a broken drawer for years, because I couldn't find this part. Now I finally did, so glad! I'll get a few, just in case....not the most durable looking piece, but I'll get a few, ust in case any others break in the future...the others have held up well for years...

The channel for the drawer slide was a little tight based on the dimensions published.

Bought this to replace a cheap plastic one that broke (installed by the cabinet maker).This is about as sturdy as plastic can get but I'd prefer metal - hence, the four stars for sturdiness.I've not been able to find a metal drawer socket set.I'm skeptical about this one too just because it NOT metal. I'll let you know if it breaks.
