I absolutely love these!! They are so much better than those thick ropes behind the ears that most manufacturers sell. I love that they are so lightweight, I don't even notice them.Okay, here comes the bad. I have tried to shorten/lengthen the cable, but I love them so much, that I'm afraid I'll break it. The problem for me is that having the librarian chain, means that over time, my glass arms get widened. I would like to put these on and then tighten, so the glass arms don't get ruined. This barely slips over my head, so in a couple months my $500 glasses will be trash. Once it is on, OMG, perfection! My glasses go off and on several times a day, so if I'm constantly pulling the arms apart to get this darn thing on, then I'm out a whole pair of prescription glasses. I'm not even sure what the cable extension is about because I will certainly break it while looking for an extra inch.For now I am choosing to break my glasses because I have no other choice.

As a healthcare provider, I use these to keep my loupes in place, but they often slip off the end piece of my glasses. Other croakies I have had in the past work really well as a simple fabric and they stay in place much better. There may be something I missing about these that makes them valuable, but I think the simpler ones seem to work better and are less expensive.

I heard about these on an archery forum for people wearing glasses when they shoot bows. This was the solution to the problem of even the slight sliding off the nose issue I have with most of my bifocals. These are really well made, stay on the arms easily, and tighten right down to a comfortable snug fit. I wear mine all day every day.

I first saw them while fishing in Florida so got a pair. They are great! The joints at the point of attachment allows the cable to be set so they don't rest on your neck. No more wet/sweaty Croakies resting on you neck!I would recommend a large size because the smaller ones are too snug for me while taking them on/off of my head. And I have an average size head.

Love these for my sunglasses. I cinch up the cord so it is hidden at my hair line. When I want to put my sunglasses on top of my head - they stay in place! Acts like a head band. I will say it is difficult to get the rubber part all the way over the ends of the glasses, but I got them on enough to work! Love them!
