Since the wifi connection on my old printer does not work, I got this super long printer cable. Works fine and enables the laptop to be moved around the room or placed far from the printer.

Your basic cable necessary for a printer, fax or scanner. I bought this not knowing if the scanner I purchased had one with it. Printers and fax machines generally do not come with the needed USB so this will serve as a backup for the future.

I bought this cable back in 2010 and it still works to this day. I can't remember which printer it is/was hooked up to but clearly it did it's job. I know it floating around somewhere hooked up to a printer.
