Used for hi end audio system. Just as good or better than cords costing hundreds of dollars.

Excellent quality. Better than stock cables usually provided by electronics manufacturers. Great buy.

*My review of the 10-foot version of this cable*<br /><br />&#34;I have bought a few green dot certified power cords, all of which function remarkably. Additionally, I use them with my desktop PC, monitor and devices that fall under the sound equipment category. If you are looking to replace power cables of unsatisfactory quality that come with certain products, a green dot certified cable surely will be an adequate option.&#34;

Very sturdy, nicely built, seems to be terrific quality. One warning, though - the ground plug is a slightly different shape that most. Don't force it. It fits just fine in my high quality outlets and power strips, but it didn't fit so well in a cheap power strip. I tried to force it, and broke the power string internally. On power strips where the outlets are close together, the plug can block other outlets.

I bought it hoping to upgrade my amplifier sound. It gives a tight controlled soundstage but delivers a dry lean sound in my system, While not what I was looking for, it is solidify built.so has been reassigned as a replacement for the stock powercord in my desktop computer.

High quality power cord, thick gauge yet flexible. A nice upgrade for electronics, I used to replace the smaller wire that came with a home theater receiver.

After reading some comments online, I thought I'd take the plunge to see what the hype is all about. I have never spent a lot of money on power cables, as any money that I do spend on such accessories go towards interconnects, headphone cables, and the like. Seeing Pangea, Shunyata, and other high end power cables for such high asking prices made me wonder how much difference they can actually make. That aside, I do enjoy an audiophile bargain (e.g. Schiit Audio products, Q Acoustics speakers, Elac Debut B6s, etc.), so I thought I'd try the Iron Lung Jellyfish clone.<br /><br />I must say, I am impressed, surprised, and a bit shocked at the performance increase I experienced by using one of these with a Little Dot MKIII headphone amplifier. I use Electro Harmonix power tubes and Vokshod drivers with this amp, along with several pairs of headphones (AKG K7xx, Sennheiser HD 598, 600, & 6xx to name a few) and I have been very happy with the sound for a couple years now. However, after replacing the stock power cable with this, I noticed that my amp had more juice. Things sounded tighter and even more dynamic. I thought it was a placebo effect at first, but I swear this cable woke up my amp (as another reviewer said).<br /><br />I am thrilled with this purchase because of the performance increase and low cost of the cable. I wonder how additional cables that I intend to order will affect other devices, but for now, I can't take my headphones off.

It works :-). It looks super reliable, design is fine as well. I used them for two active loudspeakers. I can't tell it gives any improvements in sound quality, since it's rather an audiophile game to play. The price doesn't hurt though.

Cable Wholesale 10W2-51506 Green Dot Power Cord is way better than any audiophile cable at any price why ? cause its designed for very expensive hospital equipment that requires the best possible cable for it, besides the better performance than many audiophile nice looking cables up to 6 or 8 times its price, great looks only do not provide a better sound always. I did an A &amp; B test with high quality expensive cables found no difference .They also looks better than the stock cheapo that comes with your Amplifier even your computer . My amplifier sounds much better after I put the cable on it was an instant upgrade ,greater harmonic clarity, improved instrument position specificity, solid bass improvement as well as high frequency transient response were obvious immediately and avoid the possibility of hum on tube amps the insulation protects your speaker cables also which many times are touching. Great service I purchase a couple more at this price its the best bang for the buck dont waste your money.

Just outstanding !<br /><br />If you are skeptical that merely replacing a power cord in your Audio Equipment can do wonders to the sound, do yourself a favor and buy this cable today. This assumes you have a decent audio system, the mass market electronics is not one of them.<br /><br />In my case I used this cable to upgrade the stock power cord that came with the Pangea HP-201 headphone amplifier (another hidden gem).<br /><br />After replacing the power cord, I am in audiophile bliss: rich sound, tight bass, crisp highs, instrument clarity and tonal balance.<br /><br />You don't need to spend additional $$$ on any other cable filled with nothing but marketing blizz.<br /><br />PS: I rarely post reviews, very few products wow me to this extent that I am compelled to post one.

These things work a treat and stay put like they should. Yes I've tried more expensive ones and these work just as well. Just make sure you have a good heavy duty wall outlet or it's a waste of money. If you have tired worn out electrical outlets using a great cord like this won't do anything. I didn't go fancy with the outlets I just got some heavy duty 20amp outlets for home use because I was worried about how loose the connections were getting. Better outlets helped and these cords took things a big step up. They really come in to their own if you take your time to get both done at the same time. Well worth it.

I purchased three of these power cords for audio use. I'd read about a great budget chord favored by audiophiles called the Iron Lung Jellyfish that is no longer available from the fellow who used to sell them. Lo and behold that chord is actually this one or identical looking and per spec. I'm using the chords on a Rega Apollo CD player and a Pioneer DV 79 avi DVD-SACD-CD universal player. The sonics are vastly improved, more airy and dimensional with excellent well rounded bass. I also tried it with my Schiit Bitfrost Uber DAC but oddly enough it wasn't a good match for that device. Much of the reasons for changes in sonics with various chords and interconnects is a mystery and can get very expensive, so it's nice to be able to try a chord like this at such a reasonable price point and find out how great it sounds, highly recommended!

I use these cables for my AV equipment and the value cannot be beat. They make a very firm connection, and are of great quality. Mate these with some hospital grade outlets, and you will have very secure connections for important equipment.

Cable was black instead of clear and the end was just a female to connect another 3 pronged power cable to it (NOT PC).<br /><br />EDIT 1/13/2016: They sent me the right cable finally<br /><br />Sofar it works great with my PS audio sprout. 14AWG 6ft NEMA 5-15P to C13 as advertised w/clear plugs on both ends.
