So far so good! Used this part with VGA cable to XBox to allow connecting PC flat screen video monitor. and this part allows the sound through external speakers or head phones.

Solid adapter; currently using it to hook up my computer speakers / headset to my PS3's audio composite cables. Works well, noticing no quality degradation. Only downside is they really could have labeled which plug is right audio and which plug is left audio, but a quick experiment figures it out.

i love this product! i use it to conect my xbox to surround sound speakers :)the picture given on this page is not what you will recive, but it is as advertised in the words. the picture has a dual audio female to single a/v female. but alas, the product is amazing :)

I have a DELL U2410, but no TV--as I don't have the space in my apartment for one. Due to that issue, for playing my gaming consoles, I ended up using component cables to connect my ps2 and for the left and right audio, plug into this RCA female to 3.5 female Adapter. It does work well, without me needing to turn on my computer for audio to plug my audio into an RCA female to a 3.5 male Adapter--I can just filter the sound directly to my pc speakers...However, I seem to only get audio from one speaker. Normally, I'd be severely annoyed by this, but as I have good speakers, it's tolerable.

Been using this for my Playstation 3 for the past 3-4 months. The headphones work but the plug just doesn't feel right when you plug it in. It is worth the couple of bucks I paid for it though.

This little adapter saved me a lot of trouble of getting sound out of my PS3. I don't have a TV, but my computer has a 1080p HD monitor. So I had a way to get video, but not sound. Just popped the red and white RCA cables that came with the system, and my speakers through the other end, problem solved. If you want to hook up your PS3 to your computer I highly recommend this product.

I got this adapter along with a HDMI-to-DVI adapter to connect my PS3 to my computer monitor. The adapter took the sound provided by the RCA cables bundled by with the PS3 and sent them to my headphones perfectly. A word of warning though, make sure if you are using this for the same setup mentioned, whatever accepts the audio-out should have some sort of volume control. Also remember to change the audio settings in the PS3 to use the RCA cables if you were previously using just HDMI.

Bought it for use with an XBOX 360, and it's perfect for this use. I like that it's a nice compact adapter rather than a cable. Recommended.

This item gets the job done... you'd be surprise how hard it is to find an adapter with a female headphone jack and 2 female RCA jacks for $5... I was hooking my PS3 to my monitor with a HDMI-to-DVI cable and silly me forgot about the sound.... so now I am able to connect the PS3 to my computer speakers (Logitech Z-2300) without a problem.

This product is well built, but didn't seem to have a "left" or "right" notice on the RCA side. A little experiementing did help me figure it out though. It is solidly built however

You can't go wrong with this thing. If you need RCA to 3.5mm with female on both ends, this thing will work.

this is a great product, i used this for my PS3 RCA cables to my speakers and its wonderful. What i did is use my LCD monitor as a TV for my PS3, i bought a HDMI to DVI for the video and this product for my sound, and boom i got HD gameplay and watch Blu-Ray Movies in 720p.
