Mission: Cactus Cobra Lacrosse is a 501c3 originating in 2005 working with city parks and recreation departments and area schools to provide the underserved youth opportunities to learn, train, play and compete in the game of Lacrosse through no-cost clinics, recreational camps and leagues from introduction to the highest levels of K through 12th grade competition. We maintain low cost fees, high-level instruction and maximum fun while preparing players with the desire and work ethic the ability to play at the college level and beyond. We leave no child behind regardless of the ability to pay and produce an environment that inspires students/athletes, coaches, parents, and the community to collectively create a positive and spirited atmosphere for our athletic programs. Our goal is to introduce the nations oldest and fastest growing sport in the USA to students, teachers and administrators, provide the resources and education necessary to start a curriculum at the schools, award equipment grants to qualified schools and support the ongoing efforts to insure long lasting continuation of the sport in the Peoria Unified School District. By adding a non-traditional school sport we are creating new opportunities for youth to participate in a lifetime athletic endeavor, potential for college recruitment and overall benefits of playing sports.
