I bought these for two reasons: I volunteer to catch community cats for trap neuter return and I have cacti in my garden. These work wonderfully for both!!!

I got tasked with rehabilitating a terrified, aggressive, bichon. He bit me 3-4 times and I HAD to remove him from his crate safely. These gloves were hand savers. He tried to bite me with everything he had- no effect. Now he's eating out of my hands.

These are nice thick quality gloves. They are long enough to come up just past my elbow. One of the fingers was missing a little bit of stitching but this does not seem to compromise the safety that the gloves provide. I regularly work with community cats. The nice thick leather has already saved me from being bitten by a feral cat.

I needed them for handling a very anti-touch cat who was covered in mats. Plenty of scratching occurred, but none made me bleed!

To put it mildly, we have a yorkie that can have a “bad attitude”. He got sick we needed to get antibiotics into him. No matter what type of food I tried to hide it in he'd find the pill, spit it out food all. Then he wouldn't want to eat. He lost almost 2 lbs. that's a lot for a 9.4 lb. dog we thought we were going to loose him! We were bringing him to the bet twice a day so they could get his meds in him. I showed my husband a video of them using the pill gun having protective gloves so they can't get bit!!!! I ordered these gloves it was a game changer two weeks of us giving him his medication at home! He has tried to bite, but it's just pressure. NO TEETH OR RIPPING SKIN! These gloves are great! My yorkie is on the mend the healthier he gets the more angry he is when it's pill time I only wish the pic I attached had sound

These are well made but too heavy for my purpose and the gloves are too thick for me, but I can see many uses for these gloves. Maybe someone working as a vet tech around dogs that bite, etc. Again, I can recommend if you have a specific purpose for them.

My husband and sons use these when play fighting with our dog. She knows she can only play fight when the gloves are on and it's fun for all of them. These gloves are strong and sturdy and have held up well in the 7 months that we've had them.

These gloves should certainly protect from scratches and bites. I got them for use with feral cats and kittens. They definitely provide confidence in handling a scared or angry animal. They are bulky and you should expect to be able to display a great deal of dexterity with them on, but the safety of their thickness makes up for that. I've only used them once and, though the cat didn't bite and claw as I anticipated, I was certain that I would be protected, had it done so.

The gloves seem to be what they are said to be. I bought them specifically for wearing while tending to live animal traps. Fortunately, I haven't had to test them in in a wild encounter.

My dog is a fear biter so I got these to try to get her used to being handled. They're not good for grasping anything small (scissors or nail nippers) but really great to pet my little monster all over. She's loving that and gets a treat reward at the end of our petting session.

Well made but and comes in handy with feral cats. However, the gloves are a little big and stiff. Really need to work them in before use.

These gloves are too bulky to do anything that requires fine hand control/grip. In my case, I was trying to use them to cut my kitten's nails, but I just could hold the paw in place and expose the nail with these gloves, much less hold and use the nail cutter. If you have to pick up and move a crazy animal, these gloves would be perfect, but you can't do much else with them.

Great product, our cat freaks out whenever we try to trim his claws. Using these helped us trim his claws without the fear of getting bit or scratched.

These gloves were super useful! I had to move a lot of old 10 roofing that was infested with rats! I felt very comfortable moving these things around knowing that these gloves would do their best to protect my hands up to my armpits
