Tested these out on my pug who hates getting his nails clipped. He's a biter and bites hard (weighs about 24lbs). You can still feel the pressure of the bite and therefore could still get sore, but no chance of skin piercing or puncture so I consider that a success.

My father (80) was coming over to help me clear brush with thorns. He is stubborn, but thankfully he wore these gloves. He bleeds very very easy. Not one thorn prick or scratch. I love these gloves!!

I have a strong Rottweiler puppy and he can't even damage them, going to get the longer ones a bit later. Great buy

These gloves are fantastic!! We had to give our dog insulin shots. She did not like that and would try to bite. It was very stressful. Found these gloves and they are a game changer. I can pick her up now and not worry about getting bit. Went to our vet and found out they use the exact same gloves !

These animal handling gloves are exactly as described. Protection is top notch and they are not only comfortable to wear but seemed to comfort the feral cat we had brought into out home. I believe it is because of the feel and texture of the gloves themselves. Very happy with this purchase and the company.

Tough enough and protective enough a very angry feral cat was able to get the spay it needed and the vet care it needed with 0 injury to me and a lot less stress for the cat!

We call these our 'falconer' gloves. I purchased them because we have a little rescue dog that is very unpredictable and when she bites, she breaks the skin. We don't use them as often as we did in the beginning, but still do when giving her a bath. The dog if finally adjusting, so not biting like she had when we first brought her home. Now if she does not want to be picked up and she sees you reach for the gloves, she readily admits defeat and we don't have to put them on. They are definitely bite proof for our Maltese mix.

These gloves are EXCELLENT for cactus aficionados. From barrel cactus, saguaro, Mexican fencepost, etc, you are able to lift cactus with essentially NO spine penetration through gloves to the tender mitts within.I love these gloves and highly recommend them to all gardeners who deal with aggressive garden plant life. Ha

A sick, injured, or frightened pet will scratch and bite. It is not just wild animals that might do so. These gloves protect your hands and forearms and protect the animal from further harm. I also purchased a pair for my sister to be able to safely place her cats into their carriers.
