I got these for maintaining fires and also playing with my dog. They are great for bothMy dog has a medium pressure bite. You feel the pressure but it's not uncomfortable when he goes hard. He absolutely loves playing with these and so far they stand up to his tugging.For fires, I use these to shuffle bonfire coals and such. I can reach direct into a fire, pick up and hold coals for a moment to shuffle stuff around. The heat builds but it's slow. I'm surprised how resistant they are to heat.Glad I got them.

Bought these because my dog is becoming aggressive at times and can have a serious bite. With these on I barely felt the teeth and made picking him up easier.

Works great at protecting your arm, hand and fingers from injury from puppy sharp nais and teeth. Very durable and comfortable to wear.

Gloves work great so far. Even had to wash them once. Very durable fabric. Not super stiff. Protects wonderfully... :)

We purchased these to play with our new shepherd puppy. So far the gloves worked but we have noticed the stitching coming loose. The manufacture needs to use better stitching. But for the money they work well

I used these gloves to carry the cage for TNR feral cats. The problem is that it's too big and thick for hand control and not very comfortable but it definitely protected me from one of the feral cats who tried to scratch when it was recovering.

I use these gloves frequently when my opossum needs to go back in her cage and when a squirrel escapes his cage. they are durable, well made. As a vegan, i am unhappy they are made of leather, but, they do its job well.

Was able to handle my saguaro cactus without getting stuck. Be aware that these are very thick and awkward to work in. These are not comfortable gloves but like I said I didn't get stuck.

They are thick! They are comfortable too. My cat couldn't get me when I clipped her nails.

I work on a doggy daycare and I also work with several large aggressive parrots, so I needed some nice thick gloves for socialization training. I tested these out on my own dog and even a full force bite couldn't puncture them and they stand up to the power of an African grey's powerful bite. However, they are quite stiff and will take some time to break in, it's difficult to move your fingers so grabbing dog collars or doing anything requiring finger flexibility is a bit difficult. Also the material in one of the pinkies does not extend all the way to the edge of the glove, meaning that my pinky does not even go into the finger sleeve.

I am 6'5. XL was not big enough for hands. Need a 2xl pair. But other than that I squeezed in. They worked great. Thickness and durable. We have a cane corso so he was loving the play time and me not getting pissed he bit so hard
