Though most of the time you think of clearing water lines in a RV or garden hoses for the Winter, this valve is a life saver when your AC lines get clogged with silt and the normal muck that comes out of Air Conditioners in your house. Most AC Repair companies will charge $100 just to clear out drain lines when they get plugged. I found out by putting this on a 3/4 PVC fitting and putting it into the vertical PVC pipe near your AC unit inside the house (don't forget to CLOSE the valves coming FROM the unit or you will blow the junk BACK INTO your AC!), and using a small compressor, not putting much more than 10PSI pressure through it, this will do the trick! There are very small compressors frequently sold with portable battery jumping units that are perfect for this job. The value is solid brass and will last a lifetime.

This is a must have to keep in the camper for winterization. This one seems like it will last a lot longer than some of the plastic style ones that are sold.

I love this brass blow out valve! It holds the air pressure because it actually has a Schrader valve in it. It is very well made and you can change out the valve core as well.

It does exactly what it is designed to do ! YOU just need to be sure NOT to over pressurize your water lines with an un-regulated air source ! Easy to do !

This is my second one from Camco, I bought this one to blow out my pressure washers at home for the winter. Just be aware that the the one I received here (pictured) has a bigger inlet hole than my first one that I purchased about 5 years ago. The smaller inlet hole acts as a bigger restriction while using an air compressor and blowing the lines. Shouldn't be a problem for most and you are supposed to use a regulator to lower the PSI.

I plug my auto fill line in winter since water will sit in there and could freeze. This works great to blow the line out and plug.
