I needed extra space to rest utensils and spice containers while using this table to support either my Dutch Oven or table top stove. The shelves installed easily and come with handles to place on either side of the table to support the shelf in the open position. It's like I had bought the larger version of the table now with all this space.The shelves, when folded in, were somewhat difficult to open, but after using them a few times, they now open easier. I'm pretty satisfied.

Very sturdy and should last a long time. I would give them 5 stars except they are very very tight when you close them onto the top of the Camp Chef two burner stove. Makes them difficult to open.

We love these but when we purchases ours the stove we had didn't come with the folding bars. Our Explorer had to have these bars or the shelves didn't have a support to hold the shelves out, they just folded and hung down the side of the stove. But with the folding bars they work great. However the folding bars are hard to find now that most of the stoves are redesigned. So it comes in really to know your model and if it requires the folding bars before purchasing these.

Great for additional space. I did not need to cut any notches (as some reviewers noted), or any other mods.Also acts as partial cover when closed. Very sturdy sheet metal. Also look into the adjustable feet for leveling the stove...

These are very sturdy and fold back over stove perfectly. If you have the camp chef, you need these shelves to make it complete.

The side shelves and their corresponding drilled holes did not line up correctly with holes in the grill to attach to. I was able to get the shelves attached with a little bit of work.

Nice Shelf.. Poor hardware to assemble.. It Does add a place to support items. But because the Heat coming off the burners you lose using almost half the shelf or it will melt items. Had a spatchauler a about 4 inches from the inside edge it was buring Hot... MY Major problem is the 2 piece fasteners that hold it to the stove is Flimsy. have of them arrived broken the other 2 rusted after just one camping trip. I had to buy my own stainless bolts to attach the shelfs to the stove..

Bought these Camp Chef Folding Side Shelves for my son, he is an avid camper and is always trying new and improved ways to extend his joy of camping. Pretty sturdy and totally fits his needs. The finish on this product was quite impressive.

The shelves are kinda tight to open from the closed position. It's great to have the shelf just wouldn't want to put anything goes really heavy on them. If you also have the tool hangers for the sides the shelves don't open all the way because the hangers get in the way. You just have to move the hangers to the front.

These are a bit expensive, considering what they are, but they are well made, and appear to be of high quality. I installed them on my Explorer stove, and they were a perfect fit. I expect these to last as long as the stove will.

Love these tables / covers and wished I had ordered them sooner in the season. Installation was quick and easy and don't interfere with the windshield. Cleaning is simple and provides a good protective cover for the burner assembly when not being used. Very pleased.
