These are nice and sturdy shelves when open and holding weight. I will say that once you fold the shelves over the burners to close them it is very difficult to open. They snap shut very tightly and seems like I will bend the shelves if I am not careful

The shelves did not lay flush as pictured in the product posting, so anything I put on the shelves slid down. I did see a few reviews mentioning the handle that goes under the shelves being angled up, which is true for the set that I received. After using the camp chef stove with the shelves for about a week, I went out to Home Depot and purchased some 5/16 washers to add spacers. That solved the issue! I added 3 washers for each screws (a total of 12 washers). Now I have 2 nice flushed shelves. Spent about 3 bucks for the washers.

Shelf is just OK, but this makes a good burner cover for storage. Comes with a pair of handles that make the cooker much easier to Carry and move.

It works but the holes didn't match up correctly.

I just bought a Camp Chef Explorer for outdoor cooking andI needed some stable cooking space to hold accessory items while using the 2 burner stove. The folding side shelf set was the answer. They were very easy to install, very sturdy, enough space for ingredients, a small pan and some utensils. For larger cooking uses, you might need a separate small table but for 1 or 2 person cooking, a great addition to the camp stove. It folds tight against the burner and installed, fits easily into the stove carrying case for protection and handling. Just got into wok cooking so this whole set up works great. Great two burner stove and the added side shelf set makes outdoor cooking a solid alternative to indoor stove cooking. Highly recommend both if they fit your needs.

This adds so much more prep and work space to the grill, and makes the stove much more useful. I read some comments that claimed that installing these made it impossible to use the wind screen without modifications, but I did not have that problem. I also liked that you can fold it over onto the burners when not in use to create a flat storage surface on top.

The side shelves and their corresponding drilled holes did not line up correctly with holes in the grill to attach to. I was able to get the shelves attached with a little bit of work.

Nice Shelf.. Poor hardware to assemble.. It Does add a place to support items. But because the Heat coming off the burners you lose using almost half the shelf or it will melt items. Had a spatchauler a about 4 inches from the inside edge it was buring Hot... MY Major problem is the 2 piece fasteners that hold it to the stove is Flimsy. have of them arrived broken the other 2 rusted after just one camping trip. I had to buy my own stainless bolts to attach the shelfs to the stove..

Bought these Camp Chef Folding Side Shelves for my son, he is an avid camper and is always trying new and improved ways to extend his joy of camping. Pretty sturdy and totally fits his needs. The finish on this product was quite impressive.

The shelves are kinda tight to open from the closed position. It's great to have the shelf just wouldn't want to put anything goes really heavy on them. If you also have the tool hangers for the sides the shelves don't open all the way because the hangers get in the way. You just have to move the hangers to the front.
