Mission: The Cancer Schmancer Movement is dedicated to saving women's lives through early detection of cancer. We are:• transforming women from patients into informed medical consumers• educating women on the importance and methods of early detection• shifting this nation’s priority from just looking for a cure, to prevention and early detection.

Programs: The cancer schmancer foundation educates women on the risk factors and early warning signs of cancer and the tests that can help detect cancer in its earliest stages. Www. Cancerschmancer. Org includes user-friendly educational tools, cheat sheets, and survivor stories. In addition, cancer schmancer operates the early detection fran van program in los angeles, ca. We have built a model to partner with local, existing cancer screening services for women in need in order to build their capacity, increase the number of women screened, and educate the community through grassroots educational efforts. Our detox your home school program educates students about preventing cancer and other chronic disease through healthy lifestyle change. We are currently producing a video hosted by fran drescher and jamie foxx that will be finished in 2018 and distributed to schools and youth programs across the us. Our program currently reaches 100+ schools, and we are expanding that reach. Fran dreschers health summit presents medical and health professionals at the cutting edge of their respective fields for a day-long program of education about preventing cancer and other disease. The program targets adults with families and teaches them what questions to ask their own providers. Topics discussed include traditional vs. Alternative medicine, gmos, mental health, mens health, detoxing your home, current environmental issues, nutrition, whole body dentistry, meditation, and holistic alternative medicine. The program reaches hundreds of people and transforms patients into active medical consumers.
