If you dont want dents in your boat and leaning over the water to set up your rig, this works great! Every downrigger needs one of these.

Pulls the ball in close to the rail without leaning out to grab the downrigger clip with the boom out. Very easy install, 5 minutes for each rigger. Came with everything, even the mounting screws.

If you use a down Rigger of any kind you should have this. It makes retrieving the down rigger weight an easy and safe way to get it back in your boat. I would like to see all down rigger manufacturers include this item with the down rigger.I purchased one even before I decided on which down Rigger I was going to buy.

Like I said, I couldn't imagine not having these when retrieving the downrigger. Especially when I have it fully extended. These are a must have.

These are a must have for making weight retrieval easier and safer. I think the rope should be a little thicker but after trying to install the Scotty brand on my Cannon Optimums after terminating the ends, this was my only option.

These work great on the Cannon downriggers. I like them better than scotty dr's but don't use these on the scotty's. The stopper bead that scotty downriggers use won't pass through the pulley.

Fairly easy to install, just a remove a couple of screws to split it in half, place it over the downrigger line, then place it back together and re-install the screws.As far as the actual product goes, it sure makes life easier bringing the release and downrigger ball and close to the boat for tackle changes! If one of mine ever fails, I'll certainly be replacing it with another...

I gave this 5-stars because it is a good idea, but for my set-up, it gets in the way more than it helps me. I thought it is a little over-priced, but I'm sure it will be very functional for many of you.
