A little pricy but well made and very comfortable . It's easy to stuff down into your jacket pocket too but you may need more than this if it's goes below freezing, depending on your comfort zone with really cold weather.

I recently buzzed my hair off (long story), and I live in the Pacific Northwest. It is November. I needed something to cover my head.This hat is perfect!Lightweight but warm. Soft and not itchy. Subtle logo, so not too distracting.I wear mine literally everyday and probably will until my hair grows back!

I've had the previous model of this fine cap for 12 years now, and it's starting to get a bit raggedy. Glad to have a new one now. My large head (7 5/8) fits in it fine, with enough cuff to keep my ears warm in freezing weather. It's thin enough for my bike helmets to fit over it, and dries fast when it gets sweaty.

Other reviewers have stated the cap runs small. I think it's just lightweight and not as thick as most beanie caps. My husband said it was extremely comfortable and warm. Smartwool makes great socks too.

I bought this for my boyfriend who works on an oil rig inside the Arctic circle. He loved it - and said it kept his head warm in sub-zero temperatures, while being light and comfortable to wear also. He would highly recommend to anyone working in cold conditions!

I took this hat on a trip to northern Canada and it kept me nice and warm. It is soft and comfortable on your head. I do have a small head and it fit me well. If you have a large head, it might be too tight.

Great light weight beanie. Haven't put it through the paces in anything actually cold cold. But works well enough on a daily basis for Texas winters. Wish they toned back the branding a bit. But that's just a minor complaint. Great product so far.

My dad works construction, and he wears a beanie every day for like 6 months or more of the year because even in the spring he leaves early for work and it's chilly out. He's been doing this for like 25 years and swears this is the most comfortable beanie he's worn.I wear one too and although not as often, I totally agree with what he says.He says it's the warmest for how thin it is. But, not that it's not warm because it's thin. It's surprisingly warm. And all of the reviews about how breathable it is are completely accurate. If I was going to be running or doing something highly active I wouldn't wear it though, it's too warm for that. Instead when I go on my runs I wear the thinner, sport beanie from smartwool. That one is much better for high output activities. For every day protection from the cold though, there is hardly anything better than this beanie. You won't be disappointed buy it!

These will give you a serious headache because they are so small and do not stretch much. I've tried two and both were returned. Pass on these.

Just walked the dog in 20 weather to try out my new hat. I have wool hats and alpaca hats. this hat is thin and nice and tight which I like because of the Chicago cold wind. It also turns out to be a lot warmer than I would have imagined. Don't usually write reviews but I was impressed with the hat

I primarily wear this winter hat for work but it has become basically the ONLY winter hat that I wear anymore. Between working on a horse ranch, walking and playing outside with my furbaby, or out running errands in the freezing cold the wicking aspect of this hat keeps my head nice and warm and dry, unlike any other winter hat that I've worn.
