I had been looking for a beanie for my son but was having trouble finding one large enough (7 1/4 hat size). I love Smartwool socks and when I saw this I was excited. I knew if it was Smartwool it would be good quality and warm, but would it be large enough? No worries! It is great! Large, lightweight, but keeps him warm during the harsh Midwest winter. He loves it! I'm buying additional ones to have on hand for the rest of the family.

Ordered for my boyfriend. It's his favorite cold weather hat. He's had it for a year and works in the trades and it still looks brand new. Smartwool is a quality brand and worth the money. He says it's comfortable and lightweight, but very warm.

My husband has no hair and wears this hat running and under his helmet while mountain biking. It keeps him warm but is also wicking.

Perfect light weight and warmth for running in the winter (20-40 degrees). I can't believe how well it works given how thin it is. I can wear my earbud headphones and it covers my ears well and provides warmth. I washed it a few times and it held up well. I'm very happy.

This beanie is great if you are looking for a lightweight and warm hat for the winter. It is warmer than my Under Armour fleece beanie that is twice as thick. It also dries quickly and had kept my head warm but not too warm in a during a Wisconsin winter.

I ordered my 3rd hat today and noticed I didn't review this amazing beanie. This thing somehow keeps you warm when it's cold, and not too hot when it's not. Fits my average men's sized head like a glove. It's very soft and comfortable. All of this while being very low profile and not bulky at all. 5 stars for sure. Now they need to make an orange one for my 4th.

I ordered this for my wife, who is petite. She values warmth and comfort, along with fit (we live in New England).When I opened the package I was disappointed: the hat was lightweight and felt somewhat flimsy. This was a good lesson regarding the inaccuracy of first impressions.She enjoys the hat: first, it fits well, both snugly and covering her ears. Second, it is surprisingly warm, given its weight. BTW: when it is very cold, she will also utilize a hood.Thus, both initial impressions and political polls can be unreliable.
