Mission: Care Net was founded in 1975 as the Christian Action Council by renowned scholar Dr. Harold O. J. Brown, with its primary focus to engage evangelicals in responding to the abortion crisis. Today, Care Net supports one of North America's largest networks of life-affirming pregnancy centers, and runs the nation's only real-time pregnancy decision coaching call center. In 2014 Care Net's affiliated non-profit centers served over 348,000 clients and saved communities $56,826,833. As Care Net has grown, so has our mission. Acknowledging that every human life begins at conception and is worthy of protection, Care Net offers compassion, hope and help to anyone considering abortion by presenting them with realistic alternatives and Christ-centered support.
