I have other such sponges that are about 2 thick. They get soft and mushy as they age. This sponge is listed at 3 thick, but it's really 2.5. Still, it's much stiffer than the other ones I have.

The sponge we bought for our drywall. We wanted to sand the mud with a sponge. It wasn't that great. But it's great to wash your car with.

I use this to wash and rinse my mini pig. She tolerates this so much better than being immersed in water. Now she's Johnson and Johnson fresh once a month!

Wow, this sponge is fantastic! Bought it to remove water from my kayak and this sponge was perfect. To tell you the truth, my friend was jealous that her sponge didn't absorb as much as mine!

Its for fun and making crumbls. Also for cleaning the bathtub. Making more bubbles in the tub when im taking a bath. Lots of uses.

Minimizes wasting betadine while cleaning a large area. Have used these for years but hadn't run across any. 'Course I hadn't really looked. My good grey mule, Goose, got a big cut on his hip, that drained a lot for a few days, which required applying two ointments. By morning each day it was an encrusted mess. And no big sponges had waited around a couple of years for an animal to try and kill themselves. Made do with a kitchen towel. But wasted a lot. They are good for bathing animal faces too. Like many items, when you have them there, it is easy to think of other uses. Like soaking up as much ice cold water in one and sneaking up on your wife to throw it between her shoulder blades.....the list is endless if you have an imagination....
