So far, so good. It isn't SUPER black color, but it works for my purposes. I don't have a lot of stamp pad experience, but it seems to work the ways it's supposed to. I like the lid, too.

It is usable if you remember to press down very hard every time. Disappointing. We used a prior ink pad for our simple hand date stamper and it lasted years, it seems. This one is drying up within weeks.

Great stamp so far. Be careful to get two stamps because the black on the stamp will bleed off on the red ink pad if you try to use one stamp on both pads. Ask me how I know!?!
