Mission: Through CASMEO we aim to facilitate access to sustainable STEAM programming to intentionally counter the effects trauma has on children. Oklahoma leads the nation in levels of childhood trauma and our children who suffer adversity have a greater likelihood of negative and dysfunctional trajectories later in life.

Target demographics: Provide an outlet through STEAM and boost children’s self confidence, specifically for those who have experienced trauma. Change the course of children’s lives by being that “one person” who made a difference. CASMEO implements and supports new projects for the betterment of the community and future workforce.

Programs: CASMEO serves as a hub for several active initiatives, such as eLocker, and Oklahoma Futures, Coalition on Adult Basic Education, through business incubation. In addition, CASMEO is focused on leadership through education and providing legislators and communities with needed tools to get every Oklahoman who wants to continue their educational journey and enter the workforce.
