Mission: The Center of Help’s mission is to empower, educate and connect immigrants with resources to promote self-sufficiency and to advocate for the successful integration of the immigrant community into Anne Arundel County and the surrounding areas.

Geographic areas served: Anne Arundel County, Maryland
Programs: Our building lives for new Americans project serves clients either 1) directly with walk-in advice and assistance, 2) through its educational programs or 3) by referral to an appropriate agency. The Center of Help/Centro de Ayuda assists our families with employment, medical and financial issues, translations, among others. The center also offers 7 English as a second language classes a week, a citizenship and immigration class a Leadership and Learning program for the youth which includes chess, math, science, reading, art, technology, engineering, music, and theater. The center also offers free immigration consultation in partnership with immigration lawyers, financial literacy and computer classes, and weekly workshops for adults. Once a month the Center of Help offer a food ride in partnership with the Food Bank of Maryland.
