Mission: The Center for Adoption Support and Education (C. A. S. E. ) envisions a world where every child and family connected to adoption, foster, and kinship care thrives, embracing our individual and collective diversity. C. A. S. E. improves the well-being and permanence of children and their families by delivering adoption competent mental health services, training a national network of professionals, and advancing the field through research and advocacy.

Target demographics: children and their adoptive, foster, and kinship families; birth families; adult adoptees; youth who have aged out of foster care

Direct beneficiaries per year: In 2021,1,494 people through therapy and case management and over 9,780 registrants for our webinars and training. To date, C. A. S. E. has trained more than 20,000 mental health and child welfare professionals to be adoption competent.

Geographic areas served: Washington, DC, Maryland, and Virginia with therapy and case management and nationwide with our education and training.
