Results: The demand for CFSFC financial education programs continues unabated. Number of Individuals served Since 2012:Youth: 22,440 Adults: 3,376 for a total of 25,816 receiving financial education.

Direct beneficiaries per year: 5,301 youth and 338 adults raise their knowledge of money, credit and choices to improve their financial lives.
Geographic areas served: Piedmont Region of North Carolina; Forsyth, Guildford, Stokes and surrounding counties
Programs: Adult for A Day workshops for youth that simulate real life experience so teens are able to:-Explain what a budget is and create one that balances positively. -Articulate how different education attainment levels will lead to different incomes. -Differentiate between needs and wants and prioritize accordingly. -Articulate how credit can positively or negatively affect the areas of housing, transportation, utilities, credit card, and insurance. -Communicate the importance of saving money. Credit & Savings Builder Program (CSB) is offered through employers to their employees. CSB is a hands-on, interactive financial education program that combines financial competency with goal setting, increases self-awareness and provides personal motivation/empowerment. Individuals learn how to build an Emergency Savings Account, Build or Improve their Credit and set up a Personalized Spending Plan.
